the theme for this years' CNC bottle opener challenge was 'hometown'.
i chose to create a design based
on my favorite new england tree,
the beech tree.

full of green life in the summer,
the beech tree retains some of its autumn gold leaves into the winter, giving joy to woods wanderers all year round.  so, i
keep this bottle opener on my keychain
to remind me of my roots while i am around different trees
on the west coast.
